My family has been coming up to the Klamath for over 45 years. We have stayed at many of the RV parks in the area while most have been nice Chinook RV Park is clearly the best. The people at Chinook RV Park are absolutely the best around. From the owners to the wonderful people who work at the Camp ground. My Dad Al Black stayed at this camp ground 7 months out of each year. In 2009 while at the camp he fell ill and passed away from cancer 4 months later in January of 2010. My family had a Memorial service for him at the Chinook RV in August of 2010. Without the wonderful people there it would not have happened as well as it did, they all worked so hard for us to put the Memorial together and we had a great service for him. My Dad loved the people here. They also have the best campers there, pretty much anybody there will help you if you need anything from helping to hook up your RV to putting your fishing pole together. They will help you fish, teach you how to can Salmon, take you out on their boat it is a true family there. The RV sites are great along with having a full bathroom and shower that is always clean they also have a laundry room that I have never had to wait to wash or dry my clothes. The park itself is very clean the have a tack shop a grocery store, you can rent boats and they have Bob's kayak rentals and Bob's kayak guided tours. It is all around a great place to stay. They also have a fire ring that is on a deck overlooking the river that they light every night, it is surrounded by seats. People come out at night some roast marshmallows some just bring their coffee or whatever they are drinking and talk a very nice way to meet new friends. They also put in a wonderful grass tent camping area that they named in honor of my Dad The Al Black tent camping area it doesn't get much better than this place to pitch a tent.
Thank-you to everybody at Chinook for welcoming my family and me and for having such a great place to come relax and be closer to my Dad.
With much Love
